Changing the ticket for an earlier flight home was dreadfully managed by the KLM team who I had to buy the ticket from as at the time air France’s reservation system was not working. As always the KLM people lecture me about their policies and timing - they only work 9 to 5 CET so the fact you are in Hanoi is not of interest to them. Yes you can change the ticket but we cannot say how much it will cost. When eventually they decide to tell me about the cost they fail to transfer the payment and both my original flight home and the new one are cancelled. The Jonah arrived having completed the activities needed to verify their current reality analysis the core conflict developed on that subject. One of the participants had not only verified his work in module one but repeated the process on a different subject matter as well. He said practice is needed so why not repeat the whole process. The other Jonah who started with much less knowledge about TOC had read more on TOC including all of Its Not Luck. The best bit of flying to Mumbai for business is hotels like the Leela. They meet you with a fantastic car and take you directly to the hotel. The Leela is especially good. The hotel seems really to be Indian. It is fantastically comfortable cool and has a great swimming pool. Like all Mumbai hotels it is a little expensive but a night there as a break between flying and work is brilliant for recovery.

A lot of our time is consumed in travel, mostly flying but also by train and car so it is important to make sure it is either a productive time or a time when we can catch up on sleep and fix the time zone changes. This was a business class flight (well at least from London) in a recently refurbished 747. This was an interesting trip for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I needed to drive from Milan into the Italian hills and find my hotel in the dark. This was more fun than I thought as I ended up in a new Smart car with and eco system, which was eventually revealed to travel 250 km on only 11 litre of petrol costing in total €17. My old Jag would have required £65 (€75)! Secondly, and of course more important, was that this was a potential new customer in a new sector and completely unknown to me.
